If you’re into blogging, but you prefer to listen rather than read, or talk rather than write you’ll love www.blogtalkradio.com.
It is basically an auditory version of blogging and, like blogging you can find subject matter on just about anything you are intested in. For example the other day I listened to a 30 minute session on how to run an effective teleclass featuring Book Yourself Solid coach, Cara Lumen. If you’re interested in getting your tele-classes to be more ‘magnetic’ as she calls it, click here to listen yourself.
This is just one example of the material on there – the subject matter is huge and fully searchable. You can listen to blogs live, or just listen later on your pc or download to your i-tunes or mp3 player.
But more importantly, you can set yourself up for free and start broadcasting. There are 3000 hosts currently and in June 2008 alone there were 3.3million downloads.
I set up and registered an account in less than 10 minutes, tested it 10 minutes later. there are full instructions about how to product a great show, and how to make sure the search engines find you. You can also promote your book visually at the same time as people are listening to you.
